Terms of Service.

These terms apply when you subscribe to a ClearPage website. We've kept them as plain as we can. By ticking the box at checkout and paying, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

ClearPage is a division of ClearCorp (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2026/078111/07, based in Boksburg, Gauteng, South Africa. You can reach us at [email protected] or on WhatsApp at +27 82 325 5445. "We" and "us" means ClearCorp (Pty) Ltd. "You" means the person or business subscribing.

2. What your subscription includes

• A professional 1-to-3 page website designed around your business, brand and content.
• Hosting, an SSL certificate (the padlock) and regular backups.
• Up to 5 basic changes per month, such as updating text, images, prices or business hours.
• Professional Email on Zoho Mail (up to 5 inboxes), only if you choose the email add-on.

The subscription does not include online shops, bookings or payment systems, custom web applications, paid advertising, or ongoing content writing. We're happy to quote for these separately.

3. Getting started and delivery

After you subscribe, we'll contact you on WhatsApp or email to talk through your design and collect your logo, photos, services and contact details. Your site goes live within 48 hours of us receiving everything we need. If some content is missing, we'll let you know what's outstanding, and the 48 hours starts once we have it.

Before launch, we'll make reasonable adjustments so you're happy with the result.

4. Fees and billing

• The website subscription is R500 per month, or R600 per month with the Professional Email add-on. There's no setup or design fee.
• You're billed monthly in advance, to the card you use at checkout, on roughly the same date each month. Payments are processed securely by Paystack, and we never see or store your card details.
• All prices are in South African Rand.
• We'll give you at least 30 days' notice before changing the price of your subscription.

5. Minimum term and cancellation

Your subscription has a 3-month minimum term, which is what lets us build your site with no upfront cost. After the minimum term, it continues month to month.

• After the minimum term, you can cancel at any time by giving us 30 days' notice by email or WhatsApp. You'll be billed for that notice period, and your site stays live until it ends.
• If you cancel during the minimum term, the remaining months of the minimum term are still payable.
• Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act, where it applies to you.

6. Refunds

If you cancel before we've started designing your site, let us know and we'll refund your first payment in full. Once design work has started, payments are not refundable, including for any month that has already begun.

7. Missed payments

If a payment fails, we'll let you know so you can update your card. If a payment is still outstanding after 14 days, we may take your site offline until it's paid. If it's outstanding for more than 30 days, we may cancel your subscription. Any amounts still owed, including the rest of the minimum term, remain payable.

8. Changes to your site

Your plan includes up to 5 basic changes per month. Unused changes don't carry over to the next month. Larger changes, such as new pages, a redesign or new features, are quoted separately, and we'll always agree the price with you before doing the work.

9. Your content

You're responsible for the content you give us, such as your logo, photos, text and prices. You confirm that you own it or have permission to use it, and that it's accurate and lawful. We may refuse content that is unlawful, misleading or harmful. Where we use stock photos, we use images that are licensed for commercial use.

10. Ownership and leaving

Your business name, logo, photos, text and domain name always belong to you. The design and code of your ClearPage site are provided to you as part of your subscription while it's active.

If you leave, we'll help you transfer your domain name to you or your new provider and send you your content (text and images). If you'd like to buy the full site design and code outright, ask us and we'll quote for it.

11. Showing your site as an example

We may show your live site in our portfolio or marketing. If you'd rather we didn't, just tell us and we won't.

12. Hosting and availability

We use reputable hosting and take reasonable steps to keep your site fast, secure and online. Like any online service, it may occasionally be unavailable, for example during maintenance or problems with our hosting or other providers. We'll work to fix any problem as quickly as we reasonably can.

13. Our liability

As far as the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits or lost business, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that can't be excluded by law.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change affects your subscription, we'll tell you at least 30 days before it takes effect. The latest version will always be on this page.

15. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. If something goes wrong, please contact us first. We'll do our best to sort it out quickly and fairly.
